lovely families.

i had the privilege of photographing my daughter's teacher's family a couple of weeks ago.

my daughter has always said that she dreads the end of the year, because she wants to stay in mrs w's class forever.

i can see why.

i'm stoked.  i really, really am.

i finally got some 'me' time this weekend, and grabbed the opportunity to take my new toy out for a test-drive.  and boy, oh boy - i can tell that a life-long love affair has just begun.

i think i'm on cloud nine.

grow old with me...the best is yet to come. (lol - one would think it's human!)

my excuse for being the bad blogger (once again) is a good one this time - i was away on leave.  

we visited eurodisney, paris and greece.  it was marvelous!  so nice to get away to somewhere completely different (not to mention nice and hot!)

so we're back now, and already i'm behind on editing and blogging.  but get there i shall.

i did these lovely girls a couple of weeks back.  they're a bunch of friends who have been dancing together for 10 years.  a few years ago they represented south africa at the world championships of performing arts.  as they say in the movies:  they've come a long way baby!

this one kinda got away with me.  i tried something different. just for a change.

so...

the crazy season has come and gone, and with it the sure knowledge that it is not called the 'crazy' season for nothing.

in between xmas shopping, i had loads of shoots. loads of blog guilt - so i need to make up now. and make up i will!

this is the lovely ELECTRA. she got a shoot voucher for her birthday, and decided that a friendship shoot would be fun. and fun it was!
