...a thousand words

a picture really does speak a thousand words...

i was honoured to be asked to take the photos of a Shavathon taking place at my son's school, in support of a Grade 5 classmate, who is in Cape Town at the moment, undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
the support for this little boy, by his classmate and teachers, was overwhelming.

a very moving and humbling experience for everybody involved.

even the headmaster took part

the onlookers were enjoying the show

the girls were not as brave, but brave enough to go pink!

It's amazing to see the beautiful hearts of children and how freely they love, care and support. You've captured those feelings wonderfully, I hope it lifts their friend's spirits to see how much he is loved.
